Hey! I am SO excited to tell y’all about this! I’ve never had an opportunity like this come to me before! And I’m thrilled that I can share it! Here’s the background: For those of you who have read my book, My Real Life Adventure, that I recently published and have offered as a free download “thank you” gift for subscribing to our site, you may remember that I mentioned several people (or their books, etc.) that were a huge factor in the healing process of the 40+ health issues I’ve had over the years. Of course, the healing power of God was first and foremost but one of those people was Jordan Rubin who’s own near-death experience with severe Chrohn’s disease led him to seek out the benefits of natural, healthy foods – especially probiotic and enzyme-rich foods by using the Bible as a dietary guide. In the process he was completely healed and then authored the best-selling book The Makers Diet (you can purchase that book through my Amazon list of “Good Reads” in the right-hand column of our site). After overwhelming success he authored Perfect Weight, The Great Physician’s Rx for Health and Wellness and 15 other topical books in the “Great Physician’s Rx” series. Jordan’s latest book is The Raw Truth which is another “must-have” book in my opinion. Jordan understands the health benefits of the traditional foods eaten by culture groups around the world for years (like described in Dr. Weston A. Price’s research Nutrition and Physical Degeneration and Sally Fallon and Mary Enig, Ph.D.’s Nourishing Traditions) and he also understands the benefits of raw, live whole foods and their benefits as well.
After a hit-and-miss attempt to find quality probiotic-rich whole food health supplements he began to research and formulate his own line of health products under the label of “Garden of Life” from the east coast of Florida. They are sold in health food stores nation-wide. We have used many of his products over the years and they are the best quality. I’m sure plenty of you have used some of his products and can attest to how awesome they are!
The Rubin family (Jordan, his wife and young children) had a dream to be able to provide, not only supplemental items but, a source of healthy foods as well. They searched the US for the best land and have purchased 8,000 acres of healthy fertile ground right here on American soil. This is the COOL part….
A while back, to be able to mention Jordan and his book in my book I had to contact him for permission. His director of publicity and media relations gave me consent and then we discussed the possibility of us (Real Life Natural Health) doing a video interview with Jordan for our website. It looks like that is going to happen!!!!! Way cool! But that’s still not the COOLEST part…
I got an e-mail this week from Jordan’s marketing and relations person letting me know about a brand new company that Jordan has formed and they offered me an opportunity to be a part of it from the “ground floor”!!!!! The business will supply healthy food and water produced on the Rubin’s farms in Missouri and from their spring-fed wells in north Georgia. The business will not even launch until October of this year (2011).
They are starting with all organic: probiotic chocolate, mountain spring water, probiotic water, botanical infusions, probiotic flax oil, Amasai cultured beverage, probiotic raw cheeses and 100% “green-fed” beef. Although we are blessed to be able to get grass-fed beef and raw dairy here in our little neck of the woods (underground as it is!) many people across the nation do not have local access to these things so I think this is going to be a beneficial resource for healthy families.
The foods will be offered through healthy food and lifestyle distributors around the country and it looks like I get to be one of those! They are organizing the company so that consumers can sign up for memberships (like a Sam’s club type membership), purchase through the distributors on-line (from home) and then the items are shipped straight from the farm to the consumer on dry ice. The name of the company is Beyond Organic and they have set up an opportunity for anyone interested in possibly becoming a distributor or in possibly becoming a member to sign up now (with no fees or obligation) to be able to learn more about it AND to get to be the very first people to sample the foods as they come out for FREE!
The first item to come out for sampling (as early as July) is their healthy probiotic organic CHOCOLATE! Oh yeh! I’m all over that! The Beyond Organics team has given me a weblink and a distributor code so that you can register to see all of the insider info., videos and details about the company and their products AND to be a sampler – all at no cost whatsoever. After the official launch of the company in October everyone that is registered will have the opportunity to pursue membership if they want to but are under no obligations. You can only access the site through referral since the company hasn’t been officially launched yet but once you sign up you can refer others.
I want to be very clear here that I am not making any money by telling anyone about this or by anyone signing up. I do hope to make some money in the future as a distributor, though! Some of the items that Jordan will be offering are made from RAW grass-fed dairy (like African cultured Amasai beverage and cultured probiotic and enzyme-rich raw cheeses, etc.) so it is not feasible to sell these things in stores in most states much less nationwide! That necessitates selling through individual distributors.
